Purple Latex Lace-Up Top and Cut-Out Skirt Set

Laces down the front of the top, long cut-outs down the sides of the skirt. Two ideas, and both of them are about showing a narrow strip of you at a time rather than a whole panel.

The lacing is not decoration. Pull it tighter and the top closes and lifts, leave it loose and it opens. You set it yourself before you go out, and that small act of adjusting something on your own body is half the pleasure of wearing it.

Deep purple keeps the whole thing from tipping into costume. In a dim room it reads almost black, then someone turns their head and the colour arrives.

Latex: natural latex, 0.4 mm. Light enough to move in all evening, heavy enough to hold its shine and its shape.

Putting latex on: take it slowly, a little at a time. A dusting of talc on your skin first makes it glide instead of grip.
