Clear latex is thinner work than black. There is nowhere for an uneven edge to hide and every join is visible, so this set has to be made more carefully than anything anyone would ever see less of.

Latex: natural latex, 0.4 mm. Light enough to move in all evening, heavy enough to hold its shine and its shape.

Putting latex on: take it slowly, roll the stockings up the leg rather than pulling from the top, and mind your nails: clear latex marks more easily than black. A dusting of talc on your skin first makes it glide instead of grip.
